music centre houses 2 concert halls, a music education centre,
a regional music school, rehearsal rooms and informations
centre. It is also the new home for the Northern Sinfonia
and Folkworks.

The UK's largest contemporary
arts centre outside London. Next to the tilting Millennium
Bridge the old flour mill has been converted into a fantastic
venue on the Gateshead side of the River Tyne. It is FREE
and as well as the galleries and workshops there is a café,
two restaurants (one on the roof with great skyline views
- booking advised) and a shop.
