North Tyneside

From the quaint seaside village atmosphere of Tynemouth to the bustling seaside resort of Whitley Bay, there is lots to do in the area.

Wallsend (The end of Hadrian's Wall) was built by the Romans and the area has been welcoming visitors ever since, as it's also where ferry passengers first land from Scandinavia and Northern Europe.
