Fulwell Mill was built in 1821 and is the most
complete windmill in the North East. There are guided tours
and you can see the windmill in operation (when conditions
allow), and discover the history of the mill at the purpose
built visitor centre.

terminus built in 1848 has been retained. The Victorian booking
office is set out in full working order, complete with a top-hatted
Victorian passenger. Displays of trains, trams, and Victorian

Opened 1998. Houses exhibitions and galleries
dedicated to glassmaking which began in Sunderland as far
back as the 7th century. The glass centre also contains glass
production units and the centre itself has a solid glass roof
